Wedding Planning with Katie: Vendors Booked Thus Far

HAPPY Wednesday, darlings! I’m so excited to share another wedding post today, this time about our wedding vendors! We are in the full swing of planning & have started booking fabulous people to be a part of our big day. Let me tell you…you know that scene from Mean Girls where the girls are at the mall and all of the sudden it is “feeding time” at the watering hole…that’s legit how I feel weddings are these days!! Let me explain – We started planning one year and a few months before our wedding…I was shocked to find out how early vendors book up! I thought we were the outlier, taking our sweet time planning and starting over a year out. It seems engagements, in general, are getting longer, and couples are booking amazing vendors quite early.

My advice – start booking your dream vendors earlyyyy! Luckily, the amazing people we really wanted to work with, we got in touch early enough! But can I tell you so many vendors told me “I am almost booked for 2019” or “I have three brides looking for the same date you are.” How crazy! We are getting married in October 2019 and I was inquiring around July/August 2018!
