My husband and I rented a house in Palm Beach for three weeks and had the most wonderful experience! Palm Beach has seriously captured our hearts with the magic it sprinkles upon every street. Only this year did we find out about its beauty and charm…we went for a quick weekend trip earlier this year and booked a longer trip when we returned home…we had to come back!!
This post will include everything you need to know for a trip to Palm Beach! It is filled with our favorite restaurants and hotels, in addition to the things to do. Whether you are taking a day trip or a vacation, this guide will help you plan the perfect experience. The trip was so dreamy that I wanted to share our spots and treasures along the way. You can head to our IG to watch our ‘Palm Beach” highlight & images for more inspo photos –
WHERE TO DINE:
Renatos – We’ve been three times it’s so amazing! The pasta is AMAZING!
Le Bilboquet – 100% go here for brunch and sit outside – such a vibe and the food was DELICIOUS!
Pizza Al Fresco – Casual lunch or dinner in the most beautiful courtyard + the pizza is insanely yummy!
Swifty’s at the Colony – The brunch scene is SO FUN with bottomless brunch for $35. The trivia on Monday is highly talked about & fun – we couldn’t go but heard it is a blast! PS: the lobster salad is heavenly.
Buccan – The most fabulous tapas restaurant with incredibly unique flavors. Go on Monday for 1/2 price bottles of wine!
HMF Bar at the Breakers – Super fun cocktail list! Get the drink with the ginger + honey…best cocktail I’ve ever had!
Seafood Bar – Gorgeous views at the Breakers!!
Palm Beach Grill – a Hillstone restaurant and each item we tried was better than the last. Excellent food!
Lola 41 – Fabulous sushi and other bites. The same brand as Nantucket + Boston. Gorgeous scenery.
Le Bar – Great for after-dinner drinks as it’s such a fun time! The most talented live musician is there from M – W!!
Honor Bar – Always great food + ambiance!!
Cucina – This is the famous bar where everyone goes for late-night drinks. When I say hopping I mean hopping.
Sant Ambroeus – We didn’t loveeeee our experience. Next time, I would definitely sit outside & do lunch/brunch instead.
WHAT TO DO
Lake Trail Bike Route – Biking was one of our favorite excursions from the trip, and the lake trail swerves beautifully between the water, perfectly polished flowers, and jaw-dropping homes!!
Worth Avenue – The Rodeo Drive of Palm Beach. You can’t miss it! Must explore the charming courtyards and boutiques!
Flagler Museum – A must visit! The man who created modern Florida and his home is #GOALS
Pool/Beach – Now, I wouldn’t blame you a tiny bit if you came to Palm Beach and did absolutely nothing, but if you do want to pull yourself off a lounge chair for a moment, there is plenty to do on this pretty stretch of sand (aside from shopping and eating of course). I spent lots of time floating on the flamingo haha
Par 3 Golf Course – If you like to golf, this course is gorgeous and so fun! My husband had the best time!!!
The Colony Hotel – Even if you don’t stay here, pop in for lunch or dinner. It’s that darling & brunch is fun.
The Royal Plaza x Sant Ambroeus – Grab a coffee + gelato at Sant Ambroeus then hit the shops. The plaza is stunning.
Antique Row – If you like to hunt for antiques or just love home decor, we had the most wonderful afternoon exploring the shops all along Antique Row…just makes me want a house that much more!!!!
Gardens at the Society of the Four Arts – Beautiful gardens to wander & stroll around!
WHERE TO STAY:
PALM BEACH AREA
If you want to be closer to the action in PB, The Colony, The Breakers and Chesterfield Palm Beach are great hotels.
- The Colony
- The Breakers
- Chesterfield Palm Beach (we stayed at the Chesterfield Mayfair in London & it was incredible!)
If you don’t mind being a bit further from PB, you can find the newly opened Four Seasons or Eau Palm Beach – about a 10-15 minute drive from the main action of the island.
WEST PALM BEACH
- Rent a house! Love El Cid or Grandview Heights for a neighborhood
- Canopy by Hilton
- The Ben an Autograph Collection Hotel
