I am a firm believer that Paris is always a good idea and it is one of my favorite gems in the entire world. #TBT Fun fact – I visited Molly for her birthday (hence the princess crown in the photo below) while she was studying abroad in Paris & we had the best time exploring the city. Who knew we would start The DC Darlings many years later?! Anyways, Molly speaks fluent French and is a major Francophile, so she was a wonderful tour guide / the trip was absolutely incredible. Look at this photo of us…such babies!!!
The DC Darlings Circa 2012 in Paris
In January of 2017, my boyfriend (now fiancé) surprised me with tickets for a trip to Paris over Memorial Day Weekend (he is amazing). Our trip was beyond what words can describe (although I will try!) & unforgettable!! From the incredible hospitality at @lenarcisseblanc to leaving Paris with a FIANCÉ 💍this vacation will be hard to top! Paris really is the city of love.
In this post, I will highlight the marvelous & perfect hotel we stayed at during our trip, my looks and a few post proposal photos!!!

Le Narcisse Blanc Hotel
If you prefer boutique hotels when you travel, you will love Le Narcisse Blanc. The five star hotel is exceptional and centrally located. The rooms are quite large for Paris and exquisitely furnished. Not to mention, the bed was SO COMFORTABLE!! One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in a hotel & I travel extensively!
The beautiful sitting area, parallel to the lobby
You know when you fly overnight and you arrive at your destination at the crack of dawn, only to be told you cannot check-in until much later in the day? Well, upon our check-in, Le Narcisse Blanc greeted us with cappuccinos, croissants and warm hospitality. The entire staff was extremely courteous and their attention to detail was astounding.
Le Narcisse Blanc has excellent service, beautifully designed rooms, a high-end spa with a pool + jacuzzi (unusual for Paris), and a wonderful fine dining restaurant. We are simply obsessed and we hope to return soon!

The Spa
Le Narcisse Blanc Hotel spa is one of the most fabulous spas in Paris. There is a pool where you can swim counter-current, a jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, and fitness room. There was a heat wave while we were in France, so we utilized the spa daily to cool off. Also, upon arrival, we relaxed post 7-hour flight on the spa lounges (best idea ever). After this trip, I am starting to think every international hotel we stay at should have a spa…we were able to rest and rejuvenate, setting the active tone for our trip!
