The DC Darlings Travel: Intercontinental New York Barclay Hotel Review

This September, we stayed at the Intercontinental New York Barclay Hotel during Fall 2017 New York Fashion Week! The property is located at 111 East 48th Street in Midtown – it was the perfect location as we hopped around to fashion week events all over the city. We loved the vibe of the Intercontinental Barclay – a perfect mix of classic and contemporary design. We highly recommend this hotel as it is centrally located, with easy access to public transit and Grand Central Station, close to major sightseeing spots, and surrounded with plenty of good options of bars and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and cannot thank the wonderful staff of the Intercontinental New York Barclay enough for making us feel so welcomed.

We reserved a “Barclay King” room, which was definitely the most spacious room we’ve ever stayed in, in all of New York City. Our room featured an extremely comfortable bed, a luxurious marble bathroom (with heated floors!!), and classically cool artwork.
