Our Custom Gifts for our Bridal Party!

When you’re in a bridal party as a bridesmaid or groomsman, you spend lots of money & time to support the couple getting married. I always wanted my bridesmaids to know how thankful I was for their love! They traveled to Boston for my Bridesmaid Proposal, the Bahamas for my Bachelorette Party and Newport for the wedding – so lucky for my incredible BFFS!! I needed to shower them with love!

For wedding gifts, I wanted to give them something they would use again and find future value in. While the robes and slippers were a fun touch, and I know they will use them again, at the heart of it…they are for cute wedding getting-ready photos!! I thought about my friends and what would be useful for them. I concluded personalized travel jewelry cases would be perfect because they all love to travel as well as custom tote bags to carry groceries, picnics in Central Park (most of them live in NYC) or to pack for weekend trips.

I gave the girls:

Custom Gifts with Custom Ink

I had used Custom Ink in the past to create fabulous goodies for different sports teams and sorority functions. I knew they would be amazing to help me create the perfect gift & it was especially amazing because they actually had just opened their first Maryland location in Bethesda Row – I was able to go in and talk with someone about my ideas, etc. Look how cute they turned out!!!! Ugh, so perfect!!!

I took photos of the entire process so you could see how easy it was to do! I seriously wanted to make everything after we started the process…I honestly would have if I had an unlimited budget! It was dangerous, I was a kid in a candy store. I was close to creating Under Armour quarter zips and koozies 😉

The below photo shows the beginning of the tote process. We started with the full crest but realized it looked better with just the K&C + our bridal party might not want to walk around with our dog and cat on their arms haha…although they should be honored to represent Brady and Winston!! It was really helpful being able to talk with someone in-person because they create so many custom products per day, they know whats upppp. I totally recommend making an appointment and going to the store to create your item(s). They have really great advice and provided valuable input to say “that may not look so great” or “you should try this.”

They were able to photoshop the crest to make it transparent – able to put it on anything without the white background. I was obsessed with the navy tote and how the crest played off it. It was personalized enough our bridal party would always remember the event when they used it but not too “weddingy” that they wouldn’t use it in the future.

Voila – the finished product!!

They were so cute, we ordered a few for ourselves and special people (parents, officiant, etc.) I actually used our two to go grocery shopping at Trader Joes because I had to walk home and these bad boys are great quality aka I won’t have bags ripping and apples rolling down the street!
