The adorable new donut shop can be found in Georgetown’s picturesque Cady’s Alley.
We love the story behind District Doughnut – two DC-based friends reuniting after college in the nation’s capitol and starting their own business – just like us!
This dynamic donut duo is taking DC by storm with the deliciousness of their donuts. Their business motto emphasizes creating amazing experiences for their customers. As consumers, we definitely notice the unique donut flavors and the importance of great service.
You are sure to be met with a huge smile when you enter the establishment and you will be overcome with the smell of freshly baked doughnuts.
We tried every flavor on the menu (a glorious task) and every bite was better than the last. Our personal favorites were the brown butter and the funfetti cake but every donut was mouth waveringly AMAZING.
The hot flavor of the moment is the vanilla bean creme brûlée. The doughnut’s crystalized sugar top is created right in front of you with a fire torch…can you say Instagram worthy?
